The Pogues to play Rum, Sodomy & the Lash in its entirety

FOLLOWING their massive show at London’s The O2 last year for their 30th anniversary The Pogues are back this December performing their critically acclaimed second album, Rum, Sodomy & the Lash, in its entirety plus other favourite tracks.

The dates include two nights at London’s Brixton Academy.

The band’s sophomore LP was released 1985 to tremendous acclaim and showcased The Pogues’ unique mix of traditional Irish folk, punk and classic songwriting.

It has since been in Rolling Stone’s top 500 albums of all time and Q Magazine placed it at number 93 in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums ever in 2000.

Tickets – priced at £42.50/£32.50 Manchester, £32.50 Glasgow and £35 London – go on sale on Friday, September 27, at 9.30am.
