The Rolling Stones announce international dates (2014)

THE Rolling Stones have announced a series of new tour dates for 2014 that will take them to the Far East, Asia and Australia.

The veterans will take their 14 on Fire tour to ten venues next year, kicking off in February in Abu Dhabi before hitting Japan, China, Australia and, finally, Auckland, New Zealand in April.

In a statement Mick Jagger said: “Can’t wait to be back on stage, especially in Abu Dhabi. I am really looking forward to playing all your favourite songs and seeing you all very soon.”

Keith Richards added: “The best place in the world for me is out on that stage. Stand by everyone… it’s back to where we belong, me, Mick, Charlie [Watts] and Ronnie [Wood] and some friends all rocking out together. The wheels are in motion and we’re on our way… see you very soon!”

30 – Hanging Rock, Macedon

2 – Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
5 – Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland
