The Sex Pistols extend reunion tour

The Sex Pistols

Story by Jack Foley

THE Sex Pistols have announced more shows due to the phenomenal demand for tickets.

The punk icons sold out all three dates at London’s Brixton Academy from November 8-10 in just 15 minutes when they were announced earlier this month.

So, they will now play an extra night at Brixton on November 12 and yet another gig at Manchester’s MEN Arena on November 17.

The Manchester show will be the band’s first concert in the city for more than 30 years. It’s the only show announced outside London so far.

The reunion tour was announced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the band’s genre-defining Never Mind The Bollocks album. Original members John Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock will all perform at the concerts.

Tickets for both new dates will go on sale at 9am on Friday, September 28.
