The Wanted announce 2014 world tour

Story by Jack Foley

THE Wanted have announced details of their biggest tour to date, the Word Of Mouth World Tour 2014.

Having already played to a combined audience of over 1 million people worldwide, The Wanted will be significantly adding to that figure with a multitude of shows across Europe, the UK, Canada and the US, with more to be announced across the world.

The Word Of Mouth World Tour will go on sale in the UK on Saturday, October 12 at 10am with pre-sale and VIP offerings available on www.wantedmusic.com from Tuesday, October 8.

Embarking on their most substantial tour yet, Max George said: “We can’t wait to get back on the road, for what is our biggest tour so far. One of the best things about being in a band is performing live in front of the fans, and to do that across the world has always been our dream. Every night is going to be one long party!”

The Wanted release their third studio album, Word Of Mouth, on November 4.

On the album, Tom Parker said: “It’s taken us two years to make this album and now that it’s finally finished we are all really proud of the time and effort, not just that we put in to it but all the writers and the label too.

“We think it’s our strongest album to date. We can’t wait for our fans to hear it. They’ve been really patient but hopefully they’ll think it’s worth the wait!”

The band release new single Show Me Love (America) on October 27.
