Story by Jack Foley

THE Weeknd has announced a series of UK dates in support of his new album, After Hours.

The dates all take place in October 2020 and include three nights at London’s O2 Arena. They conclude with a show at Manchester’s Arena.

After Hours marks The Weeknd’s first album in four years. It’s his follow-up to 2016’s Starboy.

The Weeknd is RnB musician Abel Tesfaye. He’s of Ethiopian descent but was raised in Toronto, Canada. When he first began recording, it was with a friend and they’d upload songs to YouTube under the name The Weekend. After Tesfaye went solo he dropped the extra “e” and became The Weeknd.

He last toured the UK in 2017.

The Weeknd’s tour dates are (all October 2020)

11, 12 & 13 – The O2, London
15 – Utilita Arena, Newcastle
16 – Arena Birmingham, Birmingham
18 – The SSE Hydro, Glasgow
