Tiesto to play Brixton Academy (2010)

Story by Jack Foley

DJ Tiesto has announced a new tour of the UK in March 2010, including a night at London’s Brixton Academy.

Hot on the heels of his sell-out shows throughout America earlier this autumn, the DJ promises that the UK leg of the Kaleidoscope tour will be one of the most extravagant tours that the UK has ever seen.

These shows are no-holds-barred, off the wall productions as no expense is spared on Tiesto’s live shows, which boast fantastical celebrations of dance music itself.

Tiësto will also be releasing the new single Who Wants To Be Alone, featuring Nelly Furtado, on February 22 through his own label, Musical Freedom, taken from his latest album Kaleidoscope. Expect remixes from David Tort Robbie Rivera and Andy Duguid.

Tiësto’s fourth studio album Kaleidoscope featuring collaborations with Kele Okereke (Bloc Party), Jonsi (Sigur Ros) and Calvin Harris. It’s out now on Musical Freedom.

The March 2010 dates are…

5 – Sheffield Arena
11 – O2 Academy Brixton
12 – Cardiff International Arena
13 – Liverpool Echo Arena
20 – Birmingham LG Arena

Tickets are all priced at £27.50 (except Brixton at £32.50)
