Two Door Cinema Club

Story by Jack Foley

AFTER an incredible summer, Two Door Cinema Club have announced details of their biggest shows to date following the sell-out success of their current UK tour this September.

The band will play three dates in March 2011 at Glasgow O2 ABC, London Roundhouse and Dublin Olympia.

Tickets go on general release on Friday, September 24, from 9am.

The dates are (all March 2011):

10 – O2 ABC, Glasgow
12 – Roundhouse, London
18 – Olympia, Dublin

Two Door Cinema Club also aim to continue their upward trajectory with the release of their new single, I Can Talk, on October 25.

The deluxe edition of their album, Tourist History, will precede this on October 4.

The Northern Ireland trio first released the LP in March 2010 and have since earned both a devoted word-of-mouth live following and huge critical acclaim.

They have already sold over 40,000 albums since March and are currently on a sold out UK tour, including two dates at Shepherd’s Bush Empire where all tickets went within a couple of hours.

The new deluxe edition of their album will feature a 60-minute documentary about the band and a special bonus disc of remixes. This includes the winning remix of the band’s track, What You Know, following a competition on the Two Door Cinema Club website in June.

New single I Can Talk has already attracted nearly 1.5 million YouTube plays and counting, and features a brand new mix of the track by acclaimed producer and mixer Adrian Bushby, who has previously worked with Muse and Foo Fighters.
