U2 announce global 2015 tour, including London's O2 Arena

U2 have confirmed details of a massive global Arena tour for 2015, including four nights at London’s O2 Arena.

The rockers will play a total of 44 shows in 19 cities as part of the U2 Innocence + Experience Tour 2015, beginning in May.

The first shows will be in the US, kicking off in Vancouver, with the first leg comprised of 22 initial shows on that continent, followed by 22 more in the UK and Europe, from September.

The dates will be in support of their new album, Songs Of Innocence, but will include hits from U2’s extensive back catalogue.

Pre-sale tickets will go on sale for the fan club on December 4, and tickets for the general public go up on December 8.
