Westlife announce first tour in two years (2010)

WESTLIFE have announced their first live concerts in two years for 2010.

The band will play a total of nine dates in May next year, including a gig at London’s O2 Arena.

Westlife are among the world’s most prolific touring acts, with eight sell out world tours already under their belts.

Returning to the road in 2010, the new shows will include fan favourites, the band’s biggest hits and tracks taken from their new, chart-topping album Where We Are.

The tour dates are (all May 2010):

6 – Nottingham Trent FM Arena
7 – Liverpool Echo Arena
9 – Sheffield Arena
12 – London, The O2 Arena
16 – Birmingham LG Arena
20 – Cardiff International Arena
24 – Glasgow SECC
28 – Manchester MEN Arena
31 – Newcastle Metro Radio Arena

During their 11 years at the top of pop’s hierarchy, Westlife have sold over 40 million records globally. In the UK alone, they have scored nine multi-platinum albums and a record-breaking 14 No.1 hits.
