Win copies of About Time OST
Preview by Jack Foley
EVERY great film has a great soundtrack and nowhere is this more true than with the new romantic comedy from acclaimed British writer and director Richard Curtis – About Time.
Following in the footsteps of Love Actually and Notting Hill, About Time is a romantic comedy about love, time travel and making the most of life. At the age of 21, Tim Lake (Domhnall Gleeson) discovers he can travel in time…
The night after another unsatisfactory New Year party, Tim’s father (Bill Nighy) tells his son that the men in his family have always had the ability to travel through time. Tim can’t change history, but he can change what happens and has happened in his own life – so he decides to make his world a better place… by getting a girlfriend.
Sadly, that turns out not to be as easy as you might think.
Key scenes in the film are brought to life by classic tracks from The Cure, Groove Armada, Amy Winehouse and more alongside some exciting new recordings from BRIT winner and multi-platinum artist Ellie Goulding with her take on the beautiful love song, How Long Will I Love You (originally by The Waterboys).
The track also appears in a folk version courtesy of Jon Boden, Sam Sweeney and Ben Coleman.
There’s also a re-working of Ben Folds’ fan favourite The Luckiest and new compositions from Nick Laird-Clowes (The Dream Academy) who contributes The About Time Theme and Golborne Road.
