Win one of three signed copies of Caro Emerald’s Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor

Caro Emerald, Songs From The Cutting Room Floor

Compiled by Jack Foley

CARO Emerald epitomises sassy and smouldering contemporary pop in her debut album Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor.

A rising star and award winning artist in her home country the Netherlands, Caro is on a mission to bring her 40’s and 50’s influenced dance floor music to the UK.

The album, released through Dramatico, is available to buy now and to celebrate the release we have three signed copies to give away.

2010 has been Caro’s year… Since the Dutch release of Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor in January, she has spent over 20 weeks on top of the album chart, and is currently certified triple platinum.

The debut single from the album, Back It Up, is a true example of how word-of-mouth can lead to an overnight smash.

An impromptu performance of the song on a local TV station in her native Holland led to an overwhelming clamour to hear more of the phenomenally exciting new singer.

Once a video – shot for next to nothing – had been posted on You Tube, the response was deafening; Caro was being begged by people she had never met to make the song available to own. See for yourself below…
