Wireless Festival 2010: Jay-Z to headline Sunday

JAY-Z is to headline the 2010 Wireless Festival in London’s Hyde Park on Sunday, July 4, 2010.

The iconic rapper will be joined on the bill by the UK’s Mr Hudson, who featured on his smash hit single Young Forever.

The top duo are the latest acts to be confirmed for the festival, following in the footsteps of Friday night headliner P!NK, who will be supported by The Ting Tings, Gossip and newly announced Australian rockers The Temper Trap.

Further acts have yet to be confirmed for the three-day event, which this year takes place from July 2 to 4 July, 2010.

Ahead of his Wireless performance, Jay-Z will play Manchester’s MEN Arena on Monday, June 7 and the LG Arena in Birmingham on Wednesday, June 9. Tickets for all shows go on sale on Friday, February 19 at 9am.

Jay-Z is also nominated for two Brit Awards at this year’s 30th Anniversary ceremony, taking place at Earls Court Arena on February 16.

The Empire State Of Mind hit-maker is nominated in the Best Male Solo Artist category and Best International Album for the critically acclaimed – The Blueprint 3.
