Wireless Festival 2011: Chemical Brothers and Black Eyed Peas to headline

THE Chemical Brothers (pictured) and The Black Eyed Peas have been announced as two of the headline acts for this year’s Wireless Festival in London (2011).

The Black Eyed Peas will headline on Friday, July 1, while dance maestro’s The Chemical Brothers will headline proceedings on Saturday, July 2.

Supporting The Peas on the Friday, meanwhile, will be four-time BRIT nominee Tinie Tempah, who will be heading to Hyde Park for his fourth year in a row, as well as one of last year’s stand outs Plan B.

Example, fresh from his recent top five album, will also be taking to the stage as part of the Friday line-up.

Joining The Chemical Brothers on the Saturday, meanwhile, will be Aphex Twin, drum and bass hit-makers Chase & Status, Chromeo, Janelle Monae, Battles, The Whip, Justin Robertson and Nero! Phew!

Tickets for both dates will be on pre-sale to Wireless subscribers from 9am on Thursday, February 10.
