Xfm Winter Wonderland 2010: Manic Street Preachers for London bash

XFM has announced the return of its hugely popular Winter Wonderland concerts in London and Manchester.

Being held in association with Jose Cuervo Tequila, the gigs are back for their seventh consecutive year and take place in Manchester on Wednesday, December 8, and at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on Wednesday, December 15.

The London line-up will be headlined by Manic Street Preachers, with support coming from White Lies, Two Door Cinema Club, The Drums and Mona, as well as a surprise special guest.

Prior to that, the event kicks-off at the Manchester Academy with performances from The Wombats, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Futureheads, Mystery Jets, The View, and Everything Everything.

Commenting on the announcement, Mike Walsh, Xfm’s Deputy Programme Director/Head of Music, said: “We’re proud to say that Winter Wonderland is back and once again bringing the best live music to two of the greatest cities in the world. It’s always an amazing night out for Xfm’s listeners and the artists alike so this is an event that is not to be missed.”

Winter Wonderland will be held from 7pm in Manchester and 6pm in London.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 5 at 9am.
