Sky.com/news launches iPhone-friendly home page

SKY News has developed an iPhone-friendly version of their website’s home page timed for the UK launch of the much-anticipated gadget.
The thousands of people expected to snap up the iPhone will be able to get the latest breaking news from sky.com/news/iphone – including UK, world and business news – in a clear, user-friendly layout.
Specially designed features for the iPhone include large buttons for each story, easy to use with touch sensitive screens, quick scrolling and a screen that automatically flicks between portrait and landscape depending on which way round the user is holding the phone.
The PDA website provides text and stills and includes a special template for handling breaking news. The page is also quick to load making it ideal for mobile use.
