ADAM Sandler has assembled another starry cast for his next Netflix project: an untitled Halloween comedy.

Joining the comedian will be Kevin James, Modern Family‘s Julie Bowen, Maya Rudolph, Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, Michael Chiklis and Kenan Thompson.

While the film remains nameless, the plot follows Hubie Dubois who, despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts, is a figure of mockery for kids and adults alike.

But when things really do start going bump in the night during Halloween, it’s up to Hubie to save the haunted holiday.

Steve Brill is directing the film from a screenplay by Sandler and Tim Herlihy.

The ensemble of the Halloween project is further rounded out by China Anne McClain, Paris Berelc, Tim Meadows, Colin Quinn, June Squibb, Shaquille O’Neal, Karan Brar, Noah Schnapp, Mikey Day, Melissa Villaseñor, Kym Whitley, Lavell Crawford, Betsy Sodaro, George Wallace and Blake Clark.

Sandler most recently starred alongside Jennifer Aniston in Murder Mystery, which was reportedly watched by over 30 million accounts in its opening weekend, making it the biggest opening weekend for a Netflix film.
