American Horror Story reveals season four title

Story by Jack Foley

THE fourth season of American Horror Story will be subtitled Freak Show.

Series co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed the news via Twitter on Monday.

The title is in keeping with the season’s setting, which is due to take place in a spooky carnival.

Very little more has been revealed about what to expect from the fourth run of the anthology although Murphy has previously let slip that events will take place in the ’50s and that Jessica Lange will again return in what is being tipped as her final run.

Additional casting announcements have yet to be made.

Freak Show follows in the wake of Murder House, Asylum and Coven runs and will make its debut in October on FX.
