Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl all renewed by The CW

SUPERHERO programmes Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl have all been renewed in the US by The CW.

They are joined by fellow comic book series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, while DC’s Constantine will also be resurrected as an animated series starring the voice of Matt Ryan.

In addition, Jane The Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Supernatural will all return for at least one more season.

Commenting on the renewals, CW president Mark Pedowitz said: “Over the past several seasons, The CW has built a schedule of proven performers, from our line-up of DC superheroes, to critically-acclaimed comedies, to sci-fi dramas.

“Early pick-ups of these seven series now allow our producers to plan ahead for next season, and gives us a solid base to build on for next season, with original scripted series to roll out all year long.”
