Broadchurch viewers urged to watch final episode until 'very, very end'

Story by Jack Foley

VIEWERS tuning in to find out the identity of the killer in ITV crime drama Broadchurch tonight (Monday, April 22, 2013) have been urged to keep watching until the very last second.

Series producer Richard Stokes has taken to Twitter to suggest that the full story will not be revealed until the last minutes of the episode, possibly even hinting at a post-credits scene

He Tweeted: “#Broadchurch tonight – don’t miss the beginning and please watch to the very, very end. Thanks for joining us on the ride.”

In order to keep the identity of the killer under wraps until its airs, only ITV boss Peter Fincham and the head of drama have been allowed to watch the final episode ahead of its broadcast.

According to Digital Spy, the single edited copy of the climax has been locked in a safe and the channel has banned the production of any DVD copies.

Broadchurch concludes tonight at 9pm on ITV.
