Charlyne Yi is joining House

ACTRESS-comedian Charlyne Yi is joining Hugh Laurie’s medical drama House.
She will play a young doctor on the show, along with Breaking In co-star Odette Annable as a prison doctor.
The arrival of a clutch of new faces for the incoming season has been prompted by the departure of Lisa Edelstein (aka Cuddie) and Amber Tamblyn, as well as the part-time status of movie star Olivia Wilde.
Yi should offer a mix of cute, kooky and endearing. She already can lay claim to a scene-stealing role in Knocked Up and was charming in the indie hit Paper Hearts.
On TV, she recently featured in NBC’s Love Bites.
