Chicago Fire

Story by Jack Foley

KEENLY anticipated firefighting drama Chicago Fire is heading to Sky Living in the UK.

The Dick Wolf-produced series stars former House actor Jesse Spencer among its ensemble and follows the men and women of Chicago Firehouse 51 in their lives and career.

It also stars Lady GaGa’s boyfriend Taylor Kinney, Teri Reeves, Eamonn Walker (Oz), Gabriela Dawson (The Good Wife), Peter Mills, Leslie Shay, and Christopher Herrmann.

In the US, the series debuts on NBC next month and is being touted as a show to possibly capture the intensity and drama of ER.

Commenting on the purchase, Antonia Hurford-Jones, acting director at Sky Living, said: “I’m delighted to be offering our customers such a compelling and brilliantly produced drama. As with all our US drama, the fantastic storytelling and really engaging characters make it perfect for Sky Living HD.”

Sky Living will also be showing Elementary, the modern day Sherlock Holmes reboot starring Johnny Lee Miller as Holmes and Lucy Liu as Holmes.
