Game of Thrones' second season to air in UK in April
Story by Jack Foley
THE second season of Game of Thrones will return to Sky Atlantic on Monday, April 2 – just 24 hours after it debuts on US TV.
The premiere has been scheduled for 9pm, meaning that it will actually broadcast less than 24 hours after it airs on HBO.
The news comes just days after Peter Dinklage took home a Golden Globe as best supporting actor in the fantasy series, prompting him to suggest that the profile afforded to such shows will now rise because of the award.
And commenting on season two, Lena Headey, who plays Cersei, has teased fans to expect a sophomore run is “even more crazy” and “exciting”.
Natalie Dormer, Liam Cunningham, Hannah Murray, Robert Pugh, Michael McElhatton and Patrick Malahide are among the actors who have signed up for this season of the eagerly anticipated series.
