Gary Barlow to guest star in Miranda
Story by Jack Foley
GARY Barlow is to make a guest appearance in BBC1 sitcom Miranda.
The Take That singer will appear as himself in the show and will “get friendly in an unexpected way” with comic actress Miranda Hart, according to a BBC spokesman.
The scenes will be broadcast in the forthcoming series, which begins airing at the end of the year (2012).
It is not the first time that Barlow has worked with Hart. The pair previously teamed up in the summer for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Barlow is about to embark on a solo UK tour in between his commitments as a judge on The X Factor.
He is also due to receive the Music Industry Trusts Award at a gala dinner to raise funds for the Brit Trust and Nordoff Robbins next week.
Hart, meanwhile, is also currently promoting her first book, Is It Just Me?.
