WATCH are thrilled to announce their most mystical series yet – US supernatural crime drama, Grimm.

Lock your doors and locate your pillows – the fairytales you knew about as a youngster are coming to life, but not as you know them.

From the executive producers of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel, comes a fantastical world of police work where all cases have a storybook connection… but not always a happy ever after.

Set in Portland, Oregon – Grimm puts a dark new twist on the Brothers Grimm stories. The fairytales adored by generation are real, and only one person can stop the villains.

In this supernatural series there is no knight in shining armour coming to save the day. Instead, homicide detective, Nick Burckhardt (David Giuntoli), assumes the role of unlikely hero.

When Nick begins to see things that he can’t quite explain – beautiful women transforming into hideous hags and average Joe’s evolving into vicious trolls – he begins to question his sanity. Everywhere Burckhardt looks he sees monsters.

Destined to take on the misfortune of his family, Nick becomes ever more entwined in the ancient Grimm tales.

In the all new exciting and already successful US import, Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads – but will he survive, or fall victim to the ancient evils?

Fans of the Grimm Facebook page will have the chance to be transformed into a monstrous Grimm creature each week by participating in Grimm tasks.
