Hannibal renewed for third season
Story by Jack Foley
BRYAN Fuller’s Hannibal has been renewed for a third season.
The reinvention of the Hannibal Lecter series, starring Mads Mikkelsen in the title role, has maintained its viewing figures from the first season and regularly sets Twitter ablaze following each episode.
The series joins a number of returning dramas recently confirmed by NBC, including Chicago Fire, Grimm, Law & Order: SVU and rookies The Blacklist and Chicago PD.
Another show to have been renewed is About A Boy, an adaption of the Nick Hornby book and subsequent film of the same name, which ranked as one of NBC’s best-performing comedies during its debut season.
