John Stamos lands I Am Victor pilot for NBC
Story by Jack Foley
JOHN Stamos has landed the lead role in new NBC drama pilot, I Am Victor, an adaptation of Jo Nesbo’s upcoming book.
The actor, who can currently be seen in a recurring role in The New Normal, will play a high-powered divorce attorney named Victor Port who has a unique view of relationships, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Described as a character not dissimilar to House, Victor will be LA’s most sought-after divorce attorney who is charming, brazen and direct, unapologetically saying what most people think but dare not say.
Mark Goffman, of The West Wing and Studio 60 fame, is penning the script.
Stamos is a regular TV leading man and memorably completed a few seasons on long-running medical drama ER.
