Johnny Depp confirmed for Ricky Gervais's Life's Too Short

JOHNNY Depp has been confirmed to appear in Ricky Gervais’s forthcoming BBC2 sitcom Life’s Too Short, according to a post on Gervais’s blog.
The Pirates of the Caribbean hero will guest star in the comedy, which – like previous Gervais series Extras – is expected to have a host of big name cameos.
However, in the course of his recent blogging on This Side of The Truth, Gervais has firmly dismissed rumours that Jerry Seinfeld would be making an appearance.
He wrote: “The Depp bit is true. The Seinfeld isn’t.”
Life’s Too Short, which is being co-written with Stephen Merchant, will air on BBC2 in the Uk, as well as HBO.
It features the continuing adventures of diminutive star Warwick Davis who plays an egomaniac dwarf who runs a talent agency for other dwarves.
Gervais has also confirmed that he and Will Arnett will guest star in the hour-long final episode of the US version of The Office, which is scheduled to air States-side on May 19 [on NBC].
