Jon Hamm commits to Mad Men for three more years

Mad Men, Season 2

Story by Jack Foley

JON Hamm has committed himself to Mad Men for another three years.

The deal, confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, means that the actor will continue on the critically acclaimed drama until the end of the series’ run.

It also makes a deal more likely to be secured with Mad Men creator/executive producer Matthew Weiner until the end of its run.

Weiner signed a two-year contract with AMC and Lionsgate TV, with an option for a third, in March this year after prolonged negotiations that pushed back the fifth season premiere of the show until March 2012 – nearly a year and a half since Season 4 ended.

That fifth season is currently in pre-production.

Hamm can currently be seen in big screen movie hit Bridesmaids
