Joseph Mawle and Damien Molony join Ripper Street

GAME of Thrones star Joseph Mawle (pictured) and Being Human‘s Damien Molony have joined the second season of BBC1 drama Ripper Street.
They will also be joined by David Costabile, a veteran of both The Wire and Breaking Bad.
Filming is currently underway on location in Ireland on the sophomore season of the show, which will reunite Matthew MacFadyen, Jerome Flynn and Adam Rothenberg as crime-solving trio Reid, Drake and Jackson.
Mawle will play a corrupt Inspector named Jedidiah Shine, Molony joins as new H Division constable Albert Flight and Costabile will play Daniel Judge, the older brother of Jackson (Rothenberg). The latter will appear in the two-part finale.
Newcomer Leanne Best has also been announced as a new cast member, playing Jane Cobden, the first woman elected to the London County Council.
While another Game of Thrones veteran, Paul Kaye, is among the guest stars, alongside Gina Bellman (Coupling), Neve McIntosh (Doctor Who) and James Wilby (Maurice).
Tthe second series will also move the show forward to 1890 but will continue to be based in and around London’s East End.
Series two will launch in the UK in early 2014.
