JULIAN Sands has joined the final season of hit serial killer series Dexter.
The English actor will play a wealthy business mogul named Miles Foster, according to TV Guide.
He joins Charlotte Rampling, Sean Patrick Flanery and the returning Yvonne Strahovski on the show’s final run.
The final season of Dexter commences on Showtime in the US on June 30, with FOX expected to air the last episodes in the UK sometime next year. It is currently showing the seventh season.
Sands has previously appeared in TV shows including Smallville, 24 and Person of Interest, while his film credits include Arachnophobia, Ocean’s Thirteen and David Fincher’s 2011’s remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
Although Dexter‘s eighth season will now be its last, Showtime president David Nevins has refused to rule out the possibility of a spin-off, revealing that a number of projects “have been discussed”.
