Killing Eve: Season 2 - Trailer

Killing Eve

A FIRST-look trailer for Killing Eve: Season 2 has just been released.

It shows that Sandra Oh’s Eve remains in hot pursuit of Jodie Comer’s Villanelle, after the latter managed to escape with her life after being stabbed by the former at the end of the first season.

The trailer for season two picks up just 30 seconds after the end of season one. It shows Eve relaying that she thinks she has killed Villanelle, only for the latter to check into hospital before being back on the streets, trying to recover from her injury.

The action unfolds to a slowed-down cover of Robert Palmer’s Addicted to Love, which underlines that Villanelle and Eve are continuing their mutual obsession.

According to the creative minds behind Killing Eve, the sophomore run will continue to be a globe-trotting affair, with trips to Rome, Paris and Holland all planned.

Season two, for which Emerald Fennell replaces creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge as showrunner, will return to BBC1 later this year.
