Mark Wahlberg and Peter Berg to reunite for Netflix movie Wonderland

Lone Survivor

Story by Jack Foley

MARK Wahlberg is to reunite with director Peter Berg for a fifth time for new Netflix movie Wonderland.

An adaptation from Robert B. Parker’s detective novel series, which ended up on the New York Times best-seller list, the story follows a man fresh out of prison who is sucked back into Boston’s underbelly while he uncovers the truth about a sensational murder.

Sean O’Keefe wrote the screenplay, while Neal H. Moritz will produce via his Original Film banner.

Wonderland marks the fifth feature for Wahlberg and Berg, whose joint credits include Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon and Patriots Day.

The duo’s most recent team-up, Mile 22, is due to be released in cinemas this August.

Wonderland continues Netflix’s foray into A-list movie making, following the likes of Will Smith-starrer Bright and the forthcoming Six Underground, which will see Michael Bay directing Ryan Reynolds.
