Matt LeBlanc's Episodes renewed for fourth season

Story by Jack Foley

EPISODES, starring Emmy nominee Matt LeBlanc, Stephen Mangan and Beverly Tamsin Greig, has been renewed for a fourth season.

Showtime has announced the renewal even before the third series has aired in the US.

Production will commence in 2014 with writing duties once again being performed by David Crane (Friends) and Jeffrey Klarik (Mad About You).

The third season will premiere in January, a year and a half after the sophomore run came to an end.

It will pick up with Sean (Mangan) and Beverly (Greig) back together, while Matt (LeBlanc, playing an alternative version of himself) continues to see his career and ego hit the skids.

Guest stars will include Chris Diamantopoulos (24) as part of a season-long arc, Roger Bart and Tracy Spiridakos.

Episodes is a co-production between Showtime and BBC.
