Michael Biehn joins The Mandalorian: Season 2

The Victim

Story by Jack Foley

TERMINATOR and Aliens star Michael Biehn has joined the second season of Disney+ series The Mandalorian.

According to Making Star Wars, the sci-fi stalwart will be playing a bounty hunter – although exact character details remain under wraps.

The second season of The Mandalorian, from creator Jon Favreau, is set to debut in October and will include series newcomer Rosario Dawson.

The first season was the streaming service’s flagship show and introduced the world to The Child (aka Baby Yoda), which became the breakout character of 2019.

Biehn broke through playing Kyle Reese in The Terminator (1984), his first of three collaborations with filmmaker James Cameron, which went on to include Aliens (1986) and The Abyss (1989).

His other noteworthy credits include the Western Tombstone (1993), in which he played unhinged gunslinger Johnny Ringo; Michael Bay’s The Rock (1996), and Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse (2007). Since then, he has mostly limited his time to appearing in cult films or lower budget releases, including The Victim.
