Peep Show: Season 7

Preview by Jack Foley

RETURNING for a stonking seventh series the hilarious Peep Show follows Mark Corrigan (Mitchell) and Jeremy Osbourne (Webb) and their increasingly complicated journeys through life.

Socially unacceptable and at times completely off the wall, Mark and Jeremy’s deepest and darkest thoughts and feelings are brought to life as they try to find their place in the modern world.

Wannabe ‘musician’ Jeremy is a lazy man with big ideas, mostly about himself. Meanwhile, Mark is an astonishingly tragic obsessive loser with a no-pain, no-gain view of the world.

Broadcast on Channel 4 since 2003 and currently the longest running sitcom in the channel’s history, the seventh series sees a complete role reversal; with Mark forced to find work as a waiter after becoming a father and Jeremy finally coming into some money, power and responsibility.

This six part series follows Mark and Jeremy from the birth of Mark’s baby to ‘little Ian’s’ christening. We also meet Mark’s parents for the first time as the boys attempt to celebrate a traditional family Christmas. And a disastrous New Year’s Eve party crawl culminates with Mark and Jeremy facing choices that could end their friendship – forever.

The seventh series of Peep Show and a 1-7 series boxset is available to own on DVD on December 27, 2010, from 4DVD.
