Sean Bean to play lead in Legends pilot
Story by Jack Foley
SEAN Bean is to replace Brendan Fraser in Legends, a new pilot from the team behind Homeland.
The former Game of Thrones man will play a deep-cover operative named Martin Odum, who has the ability to transform himself into a different person for each job.
However, he finds his own identity being called into question when a stranger suggests that he isn’t who he thinks he is.
Legends is the latest TV pilot to come from Homeland executive producer Howard Gordon and was co-developed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff (The Day After Tomorrow), Alexander Cary (Homeland) and Jonathan Levin (Charmed).
It is based on the book from spy novelist Robert Littell.
