SUSAN Sarandon has signed on for a recurring role in Showtime’s Ray Donovan.

The four-time Emmy nominee, currently earning rave reviews for her performance on FX anthology Feud, will play a character named Samantha Winslow, who is described as the strong, focused head of a motion picture studio. She has a season-long arc.

Season five of Ray Donovan returns in the summer, with Sarandon among a list of new faces, including Entourage‘s Rhys Coiro, House of Cards‘ Michael Gill, Brian White (Scandal) and American Horror Story‘s Adina Porter.

Sarandon is no stranger to the small screen, with past TV credits including You Don’t Know Jack, Friends and Malcolm in the Middle.

Indeed, the casting brings the actress back to Showtime following a guest role on The Big C.
