Tate Donovan joins 24: Live Another Day

Story by Jack Foley

TATE Donovan is to join the line-up of event mini-series 24: Live Another Day.

The actor, most recently seen in Hostages (currently airing on Channel 4 on Saturday nights) as well as Friends and Damages, will play a character named Mark Boudreau, who is described as an astute and strong-willed political adviser.

He is married to President James Heller’s (William Devane) daughter, Audrey Raines (Kim Raver), who just happens to be Jack Bauer’s (Kiefer Sutherland) former flame.

24: Live Another Day will shoot in London and picks up the action several years after the events in the final season of 24.

Yvonne Strahovski, Benjamin Bratt, Michael Wincott (The Crow) and Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Judy Davis are also among the new cast members.

24: Live Another Day will premiere in the US on May 5, 2014, with a two-hour special. It will be shown shortly after in the UK on Sky1.
