The Mimic renewed for second season

HIT comedy series The Mimic has been given a second series by Channel 4.
Featuring impressionist Terry Mynott as Martin Hurdle, the series follows the exploits of the maintenance man who has an uncanny ability to mimic voices.
John Noel, of production company Running Bare Pictures, commented: “We are very happy with the recommission of The Mimic. The series is a testament to Channel 4’s commitment to nurturing new talent – both in front of the camera and behind.”
The first series of The Mimic, which also starred Jo Hartley, Jacob Anderson and Neil Maskell, attracted a final average viewership of 1.3m
