The Punisher spin-off series ordered by Netflix

ANOTHER Marvel character is getting his own series: The Punisher is getting a Netflix spin-off, according to Variety.
The announcement was made by Netflix on Friday via Twitter, with the post: “The Punisher is back. Locked and loaded.”
Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as the vigilante — aka ex-soldier Frank Castle — who was successfully introduced in the sophomore season of Daredevil [also on Netflix].
Steve Lightfoot, who served as an executive producer on Hannibal, will serve as show-runner, writer and executive producer.
Marvel’s The Punisher will mark the sixth series in the collaboration between Netflix and Marvel, which includes Mike Colter’s upcoming Luke Cage, Finn Jones’ Iron Fist and the ensemble series The Defenders.
These come in addition to Daredevil, which rates among Netflix’s most popular shows, and the critically-acclaimed Jessica Jones.
