Tom Wlaschiha cast as Game of Thrones assassin

GERMAN actor Tom Wlaschiha has landed the role of deadly assassin Jaqen H’gar in HBO’s Game of Thrones.
The character is described as a “Faceless Man of Bravos” and one of the criminals being transported along with Arya to The Wall.
The role is one of the final positions to be filled for the currently in production second season of the Emmy nominated show.
Also joining the cast is Gemma Whelan (Gulliver’s Travels, The Wolfman) as Yara (formerly Asha) Greyjoy, the older sister of the Stark family’s impulsive young ward, Theon.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the producers changed the character’s name from Asha to Yara.
They follow Liam Cunningham, Stephen Dillane and Carice van Houten who have all landed prominent positions. Find out more
