Underbelly - A Tale of Two Cities: Season 1

Preview by Jack Foley

AUSTRALIA, 1976. Hard drugs hit the nation like a tsunami. Drug money flooded the underworld. With new money came a new breed of hard men and willing women.

Two names stood above all others – changing the face of organised crime in Australia forever – Aussie Bob Trimbole (Roy Billing – Aquamarine) and Kiwi Terry Clark (Matthew Newton – The Bet).

Now this story is told in the second series of the multi-award winning Australian true crime series Underbelly Series 2: A Tale of Two Cities, and comes to DVD on September 5, 5016, with music composed by Golden Globe winner Burkhard von Dallwitz (The Truman Show).

This season is set around the drug trade of New South Wales and Victoria between 1976-1987, and follows the rise and fall of real life Australian crime underworld figures, told from both sides of the law.
