Will & Grace

Story by Jack Foley

THE Will & Grace revival is to get a second season.

NBC announced the news at the Television Critics’ Association’s summer press tour on Thursday, which comes ahead of the show’s highly anticipated return.

What’s more, NBC has also ordered four more episodes for season one of the multi-camera effort, bringing the total to 16.

Original stars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes are all returning for the show along with creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick (who are back as showrunners). They are joined by fellow executive producer James Burrows.

Burrows, who directed every episode of the original series, will return in the same capacity on the revival.
