Yvonne Strahovski joins Dexter's seventh season

FORMER Chuck star Yvonne Strahovski has joined the seventh season of Dexter.
The actress will play a character named Hannah, who is described as a woman with a past that Miami Metro turns to re-open old cases.
Appearing at Comic-Con to help promote the show, Strahovski said that executive producer Scott Buck had approached her to play the role, which she accempted in “about a second”.
While not wanting to reveal too much more about how she figures in proceedings, she did describe her character as “mysterious, dark, and I guess kind of sexy” when she was asked by The Hollywood Reporter.
Buck himself added: “I think there’s a slightly mysterious quality about her.”
When asked how being a part of the darker Dexter ensemble compared to the lighter, breezier Chuck cast, Strahovski replied. “It’s not so crazy. I’ll just say it, Dexter‘s better. I feel like I have to say that, I’m at the Dexter panel!”
