A Midsummer Night's Dream - Chickenshed

A Midsummer Night's Dream

Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle

CHICKENSHED is presenting Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream from Friday, March 12 to Saturday, March 27, 2010.

Egeus wants his daughter Hermia to marry Demetrius, but Hermia loves Lysander. And Helena loves Demetrius. “The course of true love never did run smooth…” And with a blundering Puck, bickering fairies and an amorous Bottom, it becomes more than a bit complicated.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a dreamlike fairytale of unrequited love, mistaken identity and enchantment and Chickenshed’s production includes song and dance and just a touch of magic and mischief!!

One hundred Chickenshed students join the company as part of their unique learning experience, training alongside the professional cast in the environment of performance.
