A Portrait of James Joyce by Frank Grimes
FRANK Grimes brings his one man show the he and the she of it… to Jermyn Street Theatre for one night only – Sunday, June 16, 2013.

With its title taken from a line in Finnegans Wake, the he and the she it… is the story of Joyce’s life and about the love between a man and a woman, Joyce and Nora Barnacle.
Frank Grimes was born in Dublin and trained at the Abbey Theatre. Early in his career, he played Brendan Behan in the Broadway production of the Tony Award-winning Borstal Boy, for which he received a Tony Nomination for Best Actor and was voted Most Promising Actor by the New York critics in Variety.
Grimes has worked extensively in the London theatre, including the Royal Court, the Royal Shakespeare Company and The National Theatre. His most recent stage appearance was in the Jermyn Street production of All That Fall.
