Acoustic evenings in the NT's riverfront bookshop
THIS February, the National Theatre is presenting a limited season of free acoustic events in its pop-up bookshop bar on London’s South Bank.
Thursday evenings see the venue transformed into an alternative mid-week destination with acoustic performances from 5pm to 8pm, perfect for a post-work drink with live music and riverside views.
The evenings will showcase a selection of solo and ensemble acoustic sets by resident National Theatre artists Lucy Elizabeth, Andrew Page and Django Untuned. The venue is decked out with comfortable sofas and a bar menu offering hot and cold drinks including a selection of wines and Meantime London Lagers.
Lucy Elizabeth – Thursday, February 13.
A contemporary performance covering acoustic, folk, rock and pop with covers including She Will Be Loved and The A Team.
Andrew Page – Thursday, February 20.
A gifted guitarist and singer, Andrew Page has a large repertoire ranging from old school classics to more contemporary numbers.
