THEATRE Royal Windsor has announced that musical star Marti Webb and singer and screen icon Anita Harris are returning to Windsor to play Fairy Bowbells and Queen Rat in the panto classic Dick Whittington.

Marking an extraordinary eighty years of traditional pantomime at the historic theatre, Dick Whittington runs from November 23, 2018 to January 6, 2019.

Anne Hegerty will now perform as Queen Rat from December 18 to January 6 only, due to her being whisked away to the jungle, allowing Marti Webb to join the fun from November 23 to December 16.

The cast also includes Basil Brush, DJ Mike Read and Windsor favourites Kevin Cruise and Steven Blakeley, plus supporting company and live band.

Basil Brush has celebrated over 50 years in entertainment and appeared in countless television shows. He is a celebrity in high demand and often shows up in the most unexpected places. Recent television appearances include The One Show, Easy Peasy Eco-Beebies, The Weakest Link (which he won!), Fame Academy, Blue Peter and many more. He even popped up Down Under to win the Australian game show Talking Bout Your Generation – proving that he is the smartest fox on the box!

Marti Webb (pictured below) is an English actress who appeared on stage in Evita before starring in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s one-woman show Tell Me on a Sunday in 1980. This included her biggest hit single, Take That Look Off Your Face, a UK top three hit. Her other stage credits include Stop the World, I Want to Get Off, a show that starred and had lyrics by Anthony Newley, and Ann Pornick in the original London production of Half a Sixpence opposite Tommy Steele.
