THE West End’s Arts Theatre has six productions lined up for April and May 2008.
Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf – Wednesday, April 9 to Saturday, April 19 at 7:30pm (except Sunday, Monday and Tuesday).
Written and performed by Toby Hadoke, this delightful, family-friendly comedy show is described as a personal, satirical and razor-sharp comic odyssey from child to man, through obsession, joy and disappointment.
Directed by Mark Attwood.

Gertrude’s Secret by Benedick West – Friday, April 11 (9pm) and Saturday, April 12 (7:30pm).
What exactly is Gertrude’s terrible secret? And what is the dreadful fate of 10-year-old Emily, stranded alone in a seedy Amsterdam hotel room? These and other questions are answered in this frequently hilarious yet often terrifying show.
Andrew Loudon directs a cast that includes Prunella Scales and Natalie Cassidy.

Parrot (in the) Tank – Sunday, April 13 (6pm), Monday, April 14 (6pm and 8:30pm) and Tuesday, April 15 (7:30pm).
With a concoction of physical theatre, puppetry, film, magic tricks, original music and unrestrained imagination, a terminally jaded inventor catches a glimpse of the tangled words of a woman who will change his life forever.

The Fall and Rise of Lenny Smallman – Tuesday, April 22 to Sunday, May 4 at 7:30pm (except Sunday and Monday); matinees – Saturday at 2:30pm and Sunday at 3pm.
A struggling songwriter tries to follow in the footsteps of his heroes but life, of course, never turns out as planned, and his road to middle-age is strewn with unsuccessful relationships and disappointing career moves. But at last, a big music festival gives him an opportunity for one final moment of glory…
Written by Richard Lumsden and directed by Matthew Ashforde, The Fall and Rise of Lenny Smallman is presented by Lenny Smallman Productions in association with cloud ten productions.

Tell Me… Lies – Tuesday, May 6 to Saturday, May 17 at 9:30pm (except Sundays and Mondays; matinees – Wednesdays at 3pm.
Combining physical theatre, drama and surrealism, Tell Me…Lies is about Abi, a young woman whose mother has just died.

Zameen – Wednesday, May 7 to Saturday, May 17 (except Sundays and Mondays) at 7:15pm (except May 7 at 7pm); matinees – Thursday and Saturday at 3pm.
This beautifully-written and moving new drama, presented by Kali Theatre, shows the devastating effect of globalization on a Punjabi farmer, his land and family. This topical work explores the human reality of a major global issue that will ultimately affect us all.
