Bathhouse The Musical - Above the Stag Theatre

Preview by Lizzie Guilfoyle

TIM McArthur will direct Bathhouse The Musical, by Tim Evanicki and Esther Daack, at London’s Above the Stag Theatre, where it runs from June 18 to July 20, 2014.

Wide eyed and innocent, Billy heads for the Bathhouse looking for love but he soon discovers the other patrons are seeking something rather more temporary! Join him on his rite of passage in what is described as a light hearted musical comedy.

Since receiving its UK premiere at Above the Stag Theatre five years ago, Bathhouse the Musical has had productions in Paris and Montreal.

Bathhouse the Musical will be the second show Tim McAthur has directed at Above the Stag since it re-opened last Christmas; the first being Orton, a very different piece about the relationship between Joe Orton and Kenneth Halliwell, which closes on May 9.

Produced by Peter Bull and Andrew Beckett for Above The Stag Theatre, Bathhouse the Musical has choreography by Phil Aiden and set design by Andrew Beckett. The cast includes Joe Leather, Ryan Lynch and Tim McArthur.

Bathhouse the Musical is a musical comedy show for mature audiences, with adult themes, language, and scantily clad men.
